On January 8, 2021, Miss Thapanee Kiatphaibool, the deputy governor for Tourism Products and Business as the representative of TAT participated in the Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration (SHA) standard assessment meeting with Dr. Suwanchai Watthanayingcharoenchai, the director-general of the Department of Health, and Dr. Sarawutthi Boonsuk, the deputy director-general of the Department of Health. The meeting took place at Sombun Watcharothai meeting room located at the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health.

          At the meeting, TAT had reported the entrepreneur registration status, strategies to encourage more entrepreneurs to register and obtain the SHA certificate, strategies to promote the project awareness, as well as reporting the project’s cooperation with the alliance. The Department of Health and TAT has been working together continually. In the future, there will be an integrated platform for the public’s benefit such as Thai stop Covid​, SHA, and Safe Travel.

          The meeting ended with a completely agreed conclusion that the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, and TAT will randomly inspect workplaces in restaurant/diner type on January 14, 2021, in order to build confidence in sanitation safety standards for consumers.
